LOS ANGELES GOLF COURSES

With perfect weather, undulating terrain and a rich golf history, Los Angeles is a great place to plan your next golf vacation. From ultra exclusive country clubs to classic municipal tracks, LA County is home to some of the greatest golf courses in the world. Check out some of our favorites.

1. Rancho Park Golf Course - Rancho Park Golf Course is a local classic! A par 71 playing at 6,630 yards, Rancho Park has hosted several Los Angeles Opens, Champions Tour Events and LPGA events. Set in the hills of LA, Rancho Park is undulating with small fast greens that will challenge golfers of all levels. Fun fact – The ninth hole at Rancho Park Golf Course has a plaque with the inscription: “On Friday, Jan. 6, 1961, the first day of the 35th Los Angeles Open, Arnold Palmer, voted Golfer of the Year and Pro Athlete of the Year, took a 12 on this hole.” Only in LA!

2. Brookside Golf Club - Brookside Golf Club is steeped in 75 years of LA golf tradition. Designed by renowned golf architect William P. Bell, Brookside Golf Club's 36 holes are nestled in the foothills of Pasadena next to the world famous Rose Bowl. The golf courses at Brookside have hosted many championships including the Los Angeles Open and the National Public Links Championship. If you find yourself in the Pasadena area, Brookside Golf Club is a must play!

3. Chester Washington Golf Course - Chester Washington Golf Course, with its rolling tree lined fairways and subtle breaking greens will challenge the most skilled golfers. Conveniently located near downtown Los Angeles and the LA Airport, this par 70 layout once hosted the Gardena Open. A finalist for the Los Angeles County Course of the year award in 2006, Chester Washington is a must play for LA visitors.
